The Redevelopment Process

Many people have asked us about the process for crafting the redevelopment plan and the opportunities for public input. Here is a condensed outline of the schedule:

Thursday, April 19, 2007: The third workshop conducted by Hillier Architecture will be conducted from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Grover Middle School, 10 Southfield Road, West Windsor. Your input will be invaluable as Hillier presents its final concept plan based on the previous two workshops.

Monday, June 4, 2007: joint Council/Planning Board presentation by Hillier Architecture reflecting input from the April 19 workshop and prior to commencing the drafting the redevelopment plan. Charlie and Will expect to insist that the public will be given a full opportunity to provide input with respect to the Hillier presentation.

@September, 2007: Planning Board hearings on the redevelopment plan drafted by Hillier. We expect that these hearings will take several evenings and that the public will have a full opportunity to provide input with respect to the draft plan.

@September, 2007: Council hearings on the redevelopment plan approved by the Planning Board and referred to Council for revisions and/or a final decision.
